Bacon Avocado Caesar Salad
Change up your b-a-s-i-c caesar salad with this recipe, it is seriously THE BEST!
I love this bacon avocado caesar salad so much I had to share so you can share this recipe along! I love to make this recipe when my husband and I are doing steak nights. It is a nice elevation to a starter appetizer to a romantic, delicious at home date night.
For the greens, you can buy romaine leaves or just buy fresh store-bought.
Recipe Below:
Servings: 4
Time cook: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- The Salad - 1 bag of romaine mix greens or one sprig of romaine, washed and chopped
- 4 slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped and cooked
- 1 avocado, chopped
- 1/2 cup of croutons, crushed
- 7 oz of shaved parmesan

- The dressing - 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 3/4 cup of light mayo
- 2 tablespoons of greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
- 2 teaspoon of worcestershire
- 1/2 tablespoon of white vinegar
- 1/2 lemon squeezed
- pepper to taste

Directions: pre-heat the oven to 350°F and place bacon on wire rack coated with oil. While oven is pre-heating it is time to make the dressing! Put all ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Taste, if it tastes to acidic for liking add in more yogurt. I also just add a pinch more pepper at the end. Let it chill, longer the better.
Cook the bacon and set aside. In a bowl add the greens, parmesan, avocado, croutons, parmesan and bacon. Pour dressing on top and gently toss. Enjoy!
