Fish Tacos
Upgrade your taco Tuesday game with these fish tacos!
I think there is nothing better than fresh fish, grilled and put into a taco with delicious toppings! This fish taco recipe is just that. I love to serve this with some spanish rice and black means.
I also marinate the fish in a ginger scallion sauce.
Recipe Below:
Servings: 4
Time cook: 40 minutes
Ingredients
- Fish Tacos - 2 lb White fish, such as wahoo or cod
- 10-15 Corn tortillas
- Pico de Gallo, to garnish
- Shredded Mexican cheese, to garnish

- The Sauce - 1 cup of cilantro
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of diced jalapeno
- Garlic chili sauce, to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Citrus Coleslaw - 1/3 red onion sliced
- 1 cup of cilantro chopped
- 1 lime squeezed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small lemon, squeezed

Directions: marinate your fish, at least 6 hours. Then mix all ingredients for the sauce into a blender set aside. Make-ahead at least 3 hours so flavors develop. Then mix all ingredients for coleslaw and set aside.
Once the fish is ready, either grill or put it into a sautee pan on high heat. If you are using a sautee pan I would base it with butter. I would cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side.
Then once the fish is done, set aside. Warm your tortillas and start plating! I like to put fish down first, coleslaw, green sauce then add the cheese and pico last.
